NVIDIA Corporation today announced that Micron Electronics, Inc. now offers the NVIDIA GeForce2 MX graphics processor unit in its Millennia MAX systems. The GeForce2 MX is first GPU designed to deliver powerful graphics and new digital capabilities for mainstream PC market.

Micron’s high-performance multimedia PCs – based on the 733MHz to 1GHz versions of the Intel Pentium(TM) III processor – are chosen by power users and PC enthusiasts. The company selected the NVIDIA GeForce2 MX based on its reputation as the premier 3D and 2D engine, and its leading-edge performance for demanding applications like gaming and high-end visualizations. Micron will also offer the NVIDIA GeForce2 MX on its Client Pro and dual-CPU Outrigger systems.
