NVIDIA Unleashes The GeForce2 Ultra

In their tireless 6 month upgrade cycle NVIDIA has announced their latest monster, the GeForce2 Ultra, bringing us 1billion pixels and 31 million triangles per second. Simultaneously they have posted their Detonator 3 drivers. Running a memory clock that runs at 500 MHz (DDRwise) this card promises to really scream. The bad would have to be the asking price. Right now the MSRP for this card is going to be around $500. However, the driver package alone is a big deal as it enables higher performance, and stability from your existing NVIDIA graphics chip.
